Fundamentals of Transportation Qualification in Air Freight Logistics

This is a self-paced, self-learning course.

Course objectives:

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental transportation qualification principles in air cargo logistics which is mainly applicable to temperature-sensitive products
• Identify potential risks factors and areas requiring special controls, and in addition, ensure effective mitigation and management actions to maintain product integrity throughout all logistic lanes
• Perform a knowledgeable route and transport vehicle qualifications, giving appropriate attention to in-transit handling activities, arrangements, duration and prevailing conditions
• Utilize the results of transportation qualifications to develop and establish operational product security precautions, procedures and documentation for safe product transport, proper communication and incident management

He specializes in temperature-controlled pharmaceutical air cargo operations and quality management.
