Course objectives:
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental transportation qualification principles in air cargo logistics which is mainly applicable to temperature-sensitive products
- Identify potential risks factors and areas requiring special controls, and in addition, ensure effective mitigation and management actions to maintain product integrity throughout all logistic lanes
- Perform a knowledgeable route and transport vehicle qualifications, giving appropriate attention to in-transit handling activities, arrangements, duration and prevailing conditions
- Utilize the results of transportation qualifications to develop and establish operational product security precautions, procedures and documentation for safe product transport, proper communication and incident management
